Here at Rochdale Training we offer various types of training to suit your learning requirements, we offer Apprenticeships, our Future Apprenticeship Foundation, Short Courses and Health and Safety Courses.
Apprenticeships:
We offer Apprenticeships across several industries including: Business Administration, Customer Service, Childcare, Management, HR/Learning and Development, Health and Social Care and Engineering. Apprenticeships give you the chance to get out into the real world and get started on your chosen career. Our Apprenticeship courses are a brilliant way to gain new practical and professional skills, on the job training, nationally recognised qualifications and earn money at the same time.
Future Apprenticeship Foundation:
The Future Apprenticeship Foundation is a Pre-Apprenticeship programme in partnership with local employers that lasts 12 weeks. Designed to prepare you for an Apprenticeship through a combination of work and study, you will gain invaluable work experience in a real work setting and gain qualifications which employers are looking for.
Short Courses:
We have several fully-funded Adult Education courses, for both employed and unemployed people, covering areas such as Customer Service, Health and Social Care, Business Administration, Engineering, Team Leading and Management.
Our Functional Skills courses have been developed to help you gain essential skills in Maths and English. As nationally recognised alternatives to GCSEs, these courses focus on developing practical and functional Maths and English skills which can be applied to everyday life both at work and at home. Functional skills are fundamental, applied skills in English, mathematics and essential digital skills which help people to gain the most from life, learning and work.
Each of our courses follows a Scheme of Learning covering each topic in detail, with structured professional delivery. This will enable the learner to develop to their full potential and beyond.
Commercial Health and Safety Courses:
With over 50 years’ experience of delivering bespoke training, we offer professional advice on addressing your business needs – from meeting statutory obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974) to development training at all levels. We deliver at your premises anywhere in the UK or at our Training Centre. Discounts available for groups
