PERFORMING ENGINEERING
OPERATIONS (LEVEL 2)
Performing Engineering Operations, sometimes referred to as PEO has been designed to give those wanting
a career in the Engineering sector a head start into employment. Throughout the course, you will work with industry-experienced tutors covering units on Hand Fitting, Mechanical Maintenance, Health and Safety and Data and Documentation. This course Level 2 is ideal if you have some knowledge and basic skills in production or maintenance engineering.
EXTENDED DIPLOMA IN FAB
AND WELDING (LEVEL 3)
It involves the skills and knowledge needed for occupations in materials process and finishing, including the ability to organise work and identify and prevent problems. This level is ideal if you are working in Fabrication and Welding Engineering and have a great deal of technical skills and knowledge. You work with minimum supervision and have a good record of safety, fault correction and ensuring work meets the required standard.
NVQ DIPLOMA IN MECHANICAL
MANUFACTURING (LEVEL 3)
A qualification designed to cover the skills and knowledge of a wide variety of mechanical manufacturing engineering activities such as machining, pipe fitting and assembly and spring making. The qualification comprises
of nine pathways.
NVQ DIPLOMA IN ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING (LEVEL 3)
It involves the skills and knowledge needed for electrical and electronic engineering. The qualification is applicable to a wide variety of electrical/electronic occupations within the sector, dependent on the pathway chosen. It involves the skills and knowledge required for electrical and electronic engineering pathways.
NVQ DIPLOMA IN ENGINEERING
MAINTENANCE (LEVEL 3)
The Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Engineering Maintenance
has been designed to cover those learners who require specific knowledge within the maintenance sector of engineering. The aim of the qualification is to recognise the skills and competence required by those who work within engineering undertaking maintenance operations. Success in the qualification will recognise an ability to perform competently practical work and an understanding of the related technology.
Engineering
Our Functional Skills courses have been developed to help gain essential skills in Maths and English. As nationally recognised alternatives to GCSEs, these courses focus on developing practical and functional Maths and English skills which can be applied to everyday life both at work
and at home. Functional Skills are fundamental, applied skills in English, Mathematics, and essential Digital Skills which help people to gain the most from life, learning, and work.
